Our story

Besides being a mom, and a teacher of 30 years, I am now a farmer. Deep Roots was born in 2022 at a family meeting. We mapped out my vision of a field of blooms. The small area where we grow flowers is located on the cash crop farm in Northwest Indiana that has been in our family over 100 years.

I grew up running around this barn yard which was originally my grandparent’s. My children have now grown up here on this farm, playing in the same dirt that I did when I was young. The flower beds have brought a new element to our space that keeps us all excited.

It is my goal to share the beauty of fresh cut blooms with everyone in the near-by area. Being just 60 minutes from Chicago and in the heart of Northwest Indiana crossroads, I welcome visitors from all around The joy of a beautiful flower is never-ending.
